Who We Are

CLEATS is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering youth through soccer by helping individuals and families overcome simple barriers that might keep a child from playing.

 

CLEATS was founded in the memory of Chester “Ches” Ray Linebarier III and his love for the beautiful game and the positive impact it has on people’s lives.

3v3 Tournament

Our first annual 3v3 soccer tournament was held in June 2019 and our second in 2021. We continue to host tournaments each year to help raise donations and awareness for youth soccer players who need a bit of help. Thank you to all players and volunteers who have come out to support our mission the past few years!

Ches’ Clothes Closet

We accept more donations than just soccer equipment. Ches’ Clothes Closet is an outlet we use to collect clothes, shoes, and toiletries and help the Memphis homeless community.
